Question by Sleep Doctor: How do I edit a PHP file with a WYSIWYG editor?
I am a novice webmaster. I use an old version of FrontPage for my HTML. I do not know how to use code from scratch.
I now have a website with .php files. These are simple pages that were once html, but are now php.
Every time that I try to edit the .php files with FrontPage, I get an error when I try to view the page online. ( by the way, I DID change it from “.html” to “.php” after I saved it. )
Please tell me how a novice like myself can easily edit these php pages using a webpage editor like FrontPage.
Thanks much.

Try using Macromedia/Adobe Dreamweaver, latest versions fully support PHP.
