i bought a service from blue host.My website wont appear i think i need index.html.
How can i make sure i have index.html on my computer
If i type my website it comes out blank.
Any help is welcome,thnx
I did that i know how how to do that,i want to know if i need anything to do on my computer .When i upload a file from my computer to index.html just won’t work.I had couple of conversations with them and no results
Your Index.html is a file which resides in the root directory of your SITE, not on your computer. Ask your hosting company about this, and how to upload it.

I made an account on xm.com, it says I need to upload a index.html file, but I can’t find anything that tells me HOW.
So how do I make a .html file, and upload it?
get an html editor http://editplus.com
create the file. http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp
upload it through the site, they should have a online uploader.

My website won’t work it says the link appears to be broken i uploaded it into the public html folder the site still won’t work…. help?
If the file is named "index.html" and you have set up your DNS settings correctly, that should work. Try viewing the file from the host’s control panel.
