Is it possible to open an html file in a new resized browser window using html code?

I have a generated html code for a form that I want to use but it always opens in my current window.

Is it possible to change the code so that the form opens in a new resized browser of the size I specify using only html? Any help, code, links, or tips would be helpful. The code I have starts/ends with the tag form.
i tried javascript but ie7 gives me that annoying warning about activeX content.

Play with this:

onclick="window.open(this.href,’mywindow’,
‘width=600,height=500,
scrollbars=yes,screenX=100,
screenY=100,top=200,left=100′)
;return false;" target="_blank"

width and height are self explanitory
scrollbars is too
screen is the position of the window
target="_blank" is the command that opens a link in a new window.

All of that goes inside your a href=" " tag. IY should all be one string – had to break it up so Yahoo sould post it all.

XHTML experts: How do I insert reserved keywords in a XHTML file?

For example, if I have the sentence "Please type the element below." inside the body of the HTML file. The browser will not show the reserved element .

You need to escape your angle brackets using html entites: < and >

In a webpage browser, what syntax will I use to automatically open or display a php file using the index.html?

I programmed a php file but I need to be be opened or to be displayed automatically without copying the content of the php to the index.html….

What syntax will I insert to the index.html because most index.html upn opening a browser to that directory it automatically read the index.html not the desired file.php.

Doing this is just simple. Create you PHP page and set it ready so that the setup could be cooked anytime you want. So be ready with your home page now. Then note down the link to the PHP page. Then copy the following code into your index.html file.

Xhtml/Html, how does the browser decide on size for tags

I had a look in tools -> internet options -> general -> fonts but couldnt see anything.

Even though this can be changed in CSS im curious to where Internet explorer and firefox gets the sizes defaults from.

These are just hard coded into the software and come from way back in the first days of markup, even before the internet really when word processors couldn’t display anything over the bog standard text, so needed something to differentiate headings from body text. h1 – h3 are larger than p and 4 – 6 go from the same to smaller.

So it’s really an arbitrary choice – which DOES change from browser to browser.
