This is the fourth tutorial in a series for creating a basic website in HTML without the use of special software programs. In this tutorial, body style margins are addressed to align content flush with the top and bottom of the webpage. html Comment tags are also covered to assist with structuring html code in a logical and aesthetic way. Further tasks on defining the navigation table’s columns to prepare the content container for button placement.

HTML Rollover2/Forms Rollover It allows you to rollover an area, and an html area will appear. This is a very powerful feature. It allows you to have any HTML as a rollover, including form HTML. You can even put output code from a previous presentation into your HTML area, and this will work. So effectively you can have a banner inside banner, or webpage inside webpage so to speak. As many levels deep as you would like. Click on HTML Rollover 2. Enter where you want your rollover and HTML background to click through to. Enter your HTML. Click Create. As you rollover your start area, two other areas appear, your HTML area, and an underlying close area. Drag and resize your start area to where you would like. Drag and resize your HTML area to where you would like by dragging on the thick border to the right and bottom of the area. Then drag your close area so it surrounds the top 2 areas by at least 30 pixels.

This allows you to rollover an area, and then your HTML will appear. This is only for basic HTML and not for forms. Click on Rollover Basic. Enter where you want your rollover and HTML background to click through to. Enter your HTML. Click Create. As you rollover your start area, you will see 2 other areas, a translucent area that appears over the start area, and the HTML area where you have placed your HTML. Move the large translucent area away from the start area. Drag and resize the start area to where you want it to start. Then drag back the translucent area over the start area, and also surrounding underneath the HTML area. Drag and resize the HTML area to where you would like. Drag and resize the translucent area to where you would like.

I have taken a basic html class at my high school but i never learned how to actually upload the document to the Web.

The first thing you need is reserved space on a web server.
Depending on the web server you use, you can upload a variety of ways. Some of them offer an upload forms you can use, others require that you use FTP, which is a protocol that allows you to cut/copy and paste the files you need for your page into a folder like you would any other on your computer locally.
