My request form on my site is not letting people fill out their names with capital letters only lower case. I copied the php info from a free programer site so I am not sure how to change it to let capital letters for the name area

I would delete or comment out these four lines:

$ string_exp = “^[a-z0-9.-]+$ [A-Z0-9._%-]“;
if(!eregi($ string_exp,$ name)) {
$ error_message .= ‘The Name you entered does not appear to be valid.’;
}

It’s trying to validate that a user has entered their name in a correct format but it’s not necessary. Also try changing this line:

$ email_message .= “Name: “.clean_string($ name).”\n”;

To this:

$ email_message .= “Name: “. $ name .”\n”;
